According to an anonymous source, one civilian who was shot during the gunfight between police and robbers in today's attempted robbery at First Community Bank is assumed to have been mistakenly shot by a police officer.
The civilian who was shot was hiding behind the counter when the bank was robbed and was the first person to call 911.
The officer who supposedly shot him has been placed on leave, pending an investigation.
